For the new year I'd like to rely less on challenges and more on my own natural leanings. I need to add more nonfiction, poetry, biography, and drama. I'm still thinking on my goals so stay tuned for that.

I've read all but 7 and 10 and really liked them all. :) I can't remember if I've mentioned it before or not, but the Rupert Everett/Colin Firth adaptation of The Importance of Being Earnest was pretty awesome! I happen to believe that Oscar Wilde and Rupert Everett go hand in hand though. Off to look into the two books on your list I haven't read...
I've read 3,4,5,6 and 9 and I love them all.
You know, I have never read any George Elliot. Perhaps 2008 is the year to change that.
Eva-I saw that one. It was a lot of fun. It's the only other Firth movie I like beside P&P. Everett always plays those mischievious characters well.
Nymeth-you have to read The Thirteenth Tale. Very Wuthering Heights/Jane Eyre. Lots of mystery and plot twists.
Ugh, Vinager Hill is one of my shouldn't haves as well. Great list and congrats on a great year!
Wasn't that movie cute? It helps that Oscar Wilde is a genius and Rupert Everett is....well, what Eva said.
I'm ditching challenges this year too, just to bring back the joy of reading. I can't believe that challenges I joined and books that I chose turned into such a chore for me. Weird.

Carrie-I just want to read more on whim but we'll see if I can do it.
