Here are the rest of the shelves in the library. What you can't see in these pictures are the large computer desk and the chair and lamp in front of the bay window. What you can see in the picture is one of the favorite napping cubbies of Dickens.

Beautiful! Someday I'm going to have a library. I wish it could have a bay window, but since we're remodeling a small bedroom into the library it won't have one. I'll be happy with lots of bookshelves, though.
Cat's are funny characters, aren't they? Our two cats check out the remodeling progress so carefully. I can't tell if they are angry about it or just curious.
lol :D That is indeed a perfect napping spot for a cat!
Wow! Your bookshelves are so pretty. And so orderly, too! Good for you! All of mine look like a troop of orangutans did the shelving. Someday I'll have a library and make it all neat and tidy, too!
LOL. These shelves belong to my hubby and he is organized like this about everything. I am NOT that organized but he has rubbed off on me a little bit.
I love having a room as a library. It's hard to believe that when I was first married we struggled to fill even one shelf with books. We've come a long way.
Your shelves are terrific. I'd like to curl up on one myself (if I were able). :)
I'm jealous. I only have one bookshelf and I've got rows AND stacks on it. But they're organized into this book club, that book club, TBR. It involves frequent rearranging. But that's fun too.
Kookiejar-you may curl up on my shelves whenever you like. =)
Kimmie-I rearrange my books frequently. I love having stacks surrounding me on the floor. It's good for remembering what books you actually have.
